LMC Drilling was established in 1995, by Louis de Jager. To date LMC Drilling has completed contracts drilling for Coal, Platinum, Copper and Chrome ranging from shallow to deep (2500m) holes. Vertical, Geotechnical and Angle boreholes are included in the scope of work done by LMC Drilling.
In 2013 LMC Drilling was established with the purpose of involving black partnership in the Company. It remained dormant until 2018, as no contracts were forthcoming. The Foskor for Geotechnical Drilling in the North & South Pyroxenite pits is of one the first tenders to be submitted by LMC Drilling, however the director’s and staff have 23 year’s of exploration drilling experience and are fully competent to satisfy all functional and technical business requirements.
The Company personnel have experience on small, medium and large drilling rigs.
Over and above the personal supervision and involvement of the Company Directors, back-up vehicles and competent site managers are appointed for each of the rigs, individually. A fully equipped workshop and engineering facility is available on a 24-hour basis, for the maintenance and manufacturing of the drilling equipment
